Folding Mechanism Trekker
II ATP &
Land Rover Double ATP
Both folding and
unfolding a Pegasus double pushchair is easy, not fiddly. It can be folded down with the
standard seat or optional cot seat(s) fitted.
Tips. These aren't
essential but before folding the pushchair you may find it easiest to:
apply the pushchair brake
detach the seat material from the footplate (it's attached by velcro)
There
is a hinge and sprung loaded slide lock mechanism on each side of the seat frame
immediately above the footplate.
This
is the locked position.
On
one side (the right as viewed from the front) there is an additional security lock on the
slide.
To
fold the pushchair:
stand
at the front and hold the lower half of the mechanism on both sides
press
the security lock button on the right side, and slide both sides down
pull
towards you to hinge the joint open and forwards
fold
over until flat
to
unfold the pushchair simply pull the handle up and the sprung loaded catches will lock
into place (sometimes a small jerk near the end may help) - this can be done with one
hand, which, when you have two small children can be helpful.
Notes.
there
are several of ways of doing this, experiment and find what's best for you !
when
you had your baby at the hospital you were probably given a 'Bounty Pack' containing
product samples from leading baby product manufacturers, including a small pot of
vaseline. Although they didn't tell you what this was for I can now reveal that it is for
lubricating the folding mechanism on your All Terrain Pushchair should it become stiff.
