Mountain Buggy Double Urban 2005 Specifications

Mountain Buggy pushchairs are suitable from birth to four years.

They are manufactured by an ISO 9002 company and comply with British Safety Standards BS7409:1996.

Mountain Buggy pushchairs are constructed predominantly of lightweight heavy duty aluminium tubing and nylon fittings, high stress items like axles and the swivel wheel mechanism are of coated steel. The modular design means that individual components can be replaced if necessary.

Designed primarily for use around town the Mountain Buggy Urban Double with its swivel front wheels gives superb manoeuvrability on smooth surfaces - 'turn on a sixpence', as they used to say.

For occasional off road use you can lock the front wheel but it won't perform as well as the Mountain Buggy Terrain with a fixed front wheel

The delightfully simple folding system makes everyday life simple and the ability to remove the wheels comes in handy when you need extra space in the boot for going on holiday. It's fairly compact when folded and will fit into some small cars, e.g. Mercedes A Class, without removing the wheels.
