Rover ATP Warranty Land Rover All Terrain Pushchairs are now manufactured by Silver Cross Ltd under licence from Land Rover UK Ltd as an genuine Land Rover vehicle accessory. Both companies guard jealously their reputations for top quality products, in addition every Land Rover ATP we sell is individually inspected and tested by us before we send it to you. So much of our business is because customers rave about their Land Rover ATP to their friends that we know how important it is for us to get it right. Silver Cross Ltd provides the following warranty on their Land Rover ATPs:
The warranty is for faulty materials or manufacture it does not cover abuse, misuse or in particular accidental damage (e.g. airline damage). The warranty is for the original owner it does not cover pushchairs bought second hand. The pushchair is to be returned to the shop where it was purchased for collection by Silver Cross who will repair or replace, at their discretion after inspection. Please refer to the manufacturer's instructions for full warranty details. So what if something goes wrong with your Land Rover ATP ? Yes it does happen sometimes...but fortunately not too often. To begin with it is important to understand:
What does this mean in practice ? It means that if you use the pushchair for what it was designed for and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions then if something goes wrong which isn't your fault or that of a third party then it should be fixed under the warranty free of charge. It doesn't mean that after years of use your pushchair will look like a brand new one. The warranty does not cover for normal wear and tear, for example the paintwork may get scratched. If a bracket on the frame should break then it would be covered by the warranty. If the metal tubing should bend then it is unlikely that it would be covered by the warranty because the force required to do that far exceeds the maximum loading for which the pushchair is designed. If a frame rivet failed then it should be covered by the lifetime warranty, if a seat popper failed then it would be covered by the twelve month warranty. We have over five years experience of selling literally thousands of these pushchairs without significant numbers of problems. The commonest reason for repair is airline damage (abuse by baggage handlers or crushing in the aircraft hold). The commonest user problems with the pushchairs are:
Most of which can be easily fixed. If something does go wrong what do I do ? You contact us. In many cases we can either provide advice or if you prefer send out minor spares to resolve the problem without you having to lose your pushchair while it is being repaired. Failing that we make all of the necessary arrangements with Silver Cross for the repair. We can usually arrange for them to collect the pushchair direct from you without you needing to return it to us first (although please note it will need to be in a box of some sort). If a pushchair is collected for repair on a Monday then it would be usually be repaired and returned by the Friday ! In our experience repairs not covered by the warranty are surprisingly inexpensive. |
