This isn't a Pegasus product, it's made by Alvi of Germany. A top quality sleeping bag style of 'cosytoes' designed for use with the five point child harnesses on most pushchairs or car seats (or may be used with a body harness). Your child will appreciate the sheer luxury. You will both appreciate the benefit of not having to dress up a young child in several layers of clothing before going out.
Can also be used in some car seats (requires a five point harness where each point can be separated) or as a sleeping bag in the home or when on holiday. Children really love their snuggle bags and when you are this cosy you'll happily snooze outdoors and enjoy the fresh air even on a cold day - whether its on a walk or parked up in the garden. But these aren't just for the coldest of winter days. On a fresh spring morning or at dusk on a summers evening it can be quite chilly for a child who isn't keeping warm by moving about. And there's now a Mini Snuggle Bag for the Cot Seat. Note. Adding any form of 'cosytoes' to the seat will reduce the length of the harness straps which will seem tighter - the effect appears to be more pronounced on a child wearing a nappy than, say, a three year old.

When used with a body harness your baby can be easily detached from the cot seat and lifted without removing from the Mini Snuggle Bag - very useful for a new baby needing feeding when you're out and about. We do recommend that when entering a heated shop or home that just as any rain cover should be folded back a Mini Snuggle Bag (or Snuggle bag) should be unzipped at least partially to avoid overheating and that you monitor your baby's temperature - this is a serious piece of outdoor kit, like your Pegasus All Terrain Pushchair ! It can avoid all the extra dressing up of tiny people before you head out. Like the Snuggle Bag these aren't just for the coldest of winter days. Some of these pictures show the Alvi Snuggle Bag with the optional draw string fitted. In Europe the Alvi bag is supplied with the draw string fitted and this does comply with British Safety Standards. However British Safety Standards do not permit draw strings on garments for young children as they can present a choking hazard if swallowed. Trading Standards advise us that this is not a 'garment' and is therefore not covered by the legislation but we think the risk is similar. We have therefore removed the draw string but supply it separately so you can make the decision for yourself because you know your child best. Caution It is important that very young children and babies in particular do not overheat. |
